Craving for strawberries...

Finding tasty strawberries, even during their peak season, is like looking for a needle in a haystack. And, strangely enough, this is the same case with the dishes of the day offered by so many restaurants at lunchtime.

Pasta & another kind of delirium !

O sole mio…lala lala la…
Finally the return of the much awaited sun to Switzerland, although it is still quite random - EXCEPT in Lausanne, a city to which it seems to have taken permanent residence !

No, no, this is not a micro climate which you have never heard of, rather it’s a little corner of Italy, the restaurant Pasta e Sfizi ("Pasta and small delights"…for the uninitiated), which just opened it’s doors a few steps from the station.

The Auberge de l’Onde in St Saphorin, is home to sommelier Jérôme Aké, to whom hosts the Soirée Vigneronne on the first Thursday of every month!
