Keiko draws and paints pretty, girly things, which she
thinks there is not enough of in reality! Her favourites being, the girls with
long spidery legs, big eyes and fluffy ginger hair. ( The way in which she
dreams to be … )
Keiko decided to hone in on her talent 5
years ago, after moving to Switzerland from the UK as a product designer. Her
education and experience is vast in the art world, having won numerous awards
too, she now puts her energy into
what she loves doing – illustrations.
Now because she
is such a shy person, Keiko doesn’t exhibit her work any longer, but you are
able to see it on her fabulous website, aswell as in magazines and newspapers in
Switzerland. The good news is that she does commissions for both private
clientele and companies.
To
add to her portfolio, Keiko has created a book called "Le Destin de Cerise", which
she did in collaboration with her husband, Christophe Moinat. Inspired by the
village in which they lived in Switzerland, where there were only cows, chickens and old people, they
together created a story to turn them into something comical and
cheerful. A super gift for the kids!
My
Little Black Book certainly can't get enough of Keiko’s work, it's inspiring and
makes life seem so much exciting and care-free.
